Daniela Paton is an English teacher and a linguist focused on translation and editing/proofreading. She is a research assistant and serves as Data Manager in Cell Biology Unit, Functional Sciences Department at School of Medicine in Mayor de San Andres University. After obtaining the degree in linguistics, BA. Paton worked on developing ESP courses for health professionals, where she got interested on scientific writing and data processing in scientific settings. She has been developing skills concerning medical writing, database management system, procedures and policies for data collection and management, as well as assisting data analysis and interpretation related tasks. Currently, she manages and updates existing databases to assist main researchers at conducting studies or gathering, analyzing, and publishing information and data.
